Who told you you're allowed to rain on my parade?

Hey everyone! It's been raining non-stop this week, but even still, I waded through the monsoons to find some cute stuff for 50L. *grins* Ready to get started?

I have on two 50L items in that picture - from Inner Peace, you can get a whole set of school-themed mouthies; I've got a pencil in my mouth, and that huggable notebook, but it also comes with a crayon and pen mouthie, too! On my wrist is one of the 50L choices from Prettiful - a cute, fun, summery lollipop bracelet. Don't try to eat it though, even though it looks so yummy! *giggles*

*flops on the floor & curls up* Wow this week is going quickly, and i've been super busy with lots of projects in SL i've barely had time to sit down.
One of the things, of course, that i try to do every week is to bring you some awesome new poses to check out. Well today with the help of abby & Janey i have done just that.

Happy beginning of the week readers! So I've got a bunch for you today some cuteness and some awesome hair styles for you to check out! So I'll stop blabbering and get right to it!

Candii Kitten!

Hey Everyone!  I know I am a little late today, but its been OMG busy in my rl, but I couldn't NOT post something, I love doing it too much!!

Today I am doing an really adorable dress from Candii Kitten. It's called Leona and just so cute! And you guys know I don't do dresses very well. But this one, I will wear anytime. It comes in a few different colors but I chose green, well, because its one of my fav colors!  The dress comes with the cutest shoes and bracelets, if you look down at my ankles you will see the little bows that are on these shoes. The hair band w/bow I love, and it works perfect with the Tesa hair from Truth.

I added a couple of cute accessories I found at CK too. I just couldn't pass them up. The glasses are called Grunge glasses in Lime. I think they are so cute and the butterfly ring, Well I absolutely love butterflies so of course when I seen these on display right beside the glasses, I had to get one of them. They are a steal too. The glasses and the Butterfly ring are only 50L each. Candii has tons of colors too.

I know this was kinda short. But I will try to make up for it next Monday. I hope you all have a wonderful week, and keep on smiling.. not only does it make the grumpiest of  people smile back, it makes them wonder what you are up to!

Lean on me, when you're not strong...

Hey everyone! I think Jamie's posting today but I wanted to share with you all a very special project we've been working on - it's called Ask the Scribblers! Basically, it's an advice column sort of thing, where you guys, the readers, can write in to our private email account with a question about anything, and we'll do our best to answer it! Six heads are better than one, right?

You can ask about /anything/ -from where to find a certain item in SL, to how to get a job as a child avatar, where to go to school, things to do, how to handle situations like bullying or loneliness, finding a family, anything!

Your question will remain anonymous, of course - we will NOT post any names or emails, or share that information outside the Scribbles staff. 

Then, once a week, in addition to our normal posts, we'll post our answers to your questions. Now, we're not experts! But we figure that sometimes, someone outside a situation can be more help than someone right inside it. And! We think that if we work together, we can answer just about any question about Second Life and the child avatar community that you might have.

It's Friday, I'm in Love!

*carries in armloads of 50L items and drops them all in a pile*

Phew! *sits down in the middle of all my stuff and starts sorting*

Ohai guys! So. Summer is definitely, definitely here. You won't believe all the adorable stuff on this week's 50L list; from flouncy dresses and keychain mouthies to pose chairs and bath toys, this week's list has something for everyone.

First up I want to share this piano pose prop from Glitterati Family. I got up super-early today to wish my Mommy a Happy Rezday, and she'd already bought this piano for us to use! The pose is for one adult and one child and is so wonderfully-done. It made me think of a parent giving their child a piano lesson - very easy, comfortable and loving.

So this past weekend, Me and my sissy Jane were out and about shopping and decided to go swimming! Now that it's getting warmer we figured a nice morning down on the beach would be fun. so Jane grabbed our friend Marienne and off we went!
Of course we had to make sure we were dressed appropriately, so we put on our swimming costumes and grabbed our floaties. So today i am going to show you how cute we all looked, and where you can go to look just as cute!

Sorry I have been MIA for a few weeks, its just one thing after another around here and now that I am back at work after surgery it just seems my time is so strained, BUT I promise not to forget my posts! Thank you to the Scribblers who filled in for me while I was out of commission waiting on a new graphics card and such! I love you girlies!! <3

Mermaids & Faeries- Evie's Closet

I can't believe its Monday again already. Last week went by sooooo fast!  Today I kinda wanted to blog about a wonderful creator/designer,Evangeline Miles.  This Lady designs some of the most beautiful Fantasy wear. Not only does she create for adults, but also for little avi's. Her textures are all hand made, no photosourcing at all. And the neatest thing is, A lot of her adult clothing, has a little girl outfit to almost match, So all you mother and daughters these are perfect for you.

Most people that know me, know sometimes I love to put on a pair of wings and become a faery. When I was little I daydreamed often of having wings, and flying high above the bad stuff, where it was all safe and beautiful. Ms Evie makes those daydreams I had, become a reality of sorts, as much reality as we can have inside of Second Life.
She makes so many styles and colors to choose from, some faery-like.

This one is called Tiny Elysian -Blue, it also comes with a long skirt and a Flower wreath with blue flowers, but I love the Star Circlet, its my kind of tiara!   You cant see in this picture but it also comes with some very pretty leg ribbons, to match the arm ribbons. I  have green and violet also, I believe it comes in other colors too. The wings are from Fancy Fairy  And there a million colors and styles there. Beautiful all of them.

And some designs she makes are what you would imagine seeing in a fairytale.

This is one of my favorite non-wing dress. It's called. Tiny Muse-Green, its simple and sooo pretty, I believe there are 5 different colors. She has so many tiny formal dresses, so so pretty, with detail that you can't get with photo sourcing. She has from Victorian, to Fairy, to flowergirl styles. I can't say enough how lovely they all are.   But now, a new release from her! And last night she released them for us little avi;'s too.

Woo! Happy Friday everyone! I can SMELL the weekend it's so close. It smells like sugar and clean laundry! Riley here, filling in for Jane JUST for today. I love Fridays, because it's the weekend and because it's 50 linden friday! And anyone who knows me, KNOWS I consider shopping a sport. I LOVE to shop. So I got up, all excited to see what those amazinngg stores have out for us today. And, like every week, they never fail at putting out such AMAZING stuff. SO eyes open while I quickly run through some of my faves!

We're off to see the wizaaard!

    Hey Guys! Wow, Thursday already huh? It seem's like it has come around so quickly this week. Probably because i've spent most of the week laughing really hard and busying myself on second life with family & friends.
Today i want to clue you in on a pretty new pose store, [[ dollipops ]] by the lovely December Dollinger. I'm also going to show you a very cute LOTD; which totally reminds me of The Wizard of Oz. *skips through the blog post singing 'follow the yellow brick road' *

Happy Monday everyone!!  I hope you all had a great weekend!  I so wish the weekends would be longer. Honestly, we should have two day work weeks, and 5 day weekends.  *nods to myself and thinks*

Okay enough stalling. Time to get dressed. *groans a little*

Today I decided to wear some cool pants I found at Atomic over the weekend. This are perfect. I love purple and plaid just seems to be the in thing.

I never knew that Atomic had such neat stuff that would fit us kids. I was impressed and bought a hoodie and a Cardi too.  But for today I chose to wear a black leather jacket I bought at AOHARU a few months back. It took some modding to fit but it was well worth it.  This kind of jacket goes with just about anything, and besides it makes me look tough. (tries to look tough). My shirt comes from Babydoll's boutique, it is included in her Soda Pop outfit. It matches perfectly with the pants and the jacket.

Pillow Fight Anyone...

Haaaaaiii Everyone! Do you all remember when you were younger and you decided to grab all the pillows and blankets in the house and using the sofa or some chairs you'd build your self a little den or fort?! I most definitely do, I used to steal some cookies and go hide in mine once it was built with my younger sister and we used to think no one would ever see us or know it was us who ate all the cookies! Anyway enough of my memory lane trip.... I've managed to find a few stores here in SL that have some items exactly like those we used to build as kids and they are ADORABLE!

:: 50L Friday :: 16th April, 2010

We're one week closer to summer, can you believe it? This week has been a whirlwind of really great, fun stuff. I even got to take a picture as a ballerina with my big sister! Maybe if she says it's okay, I'll share it with you sometime. Anyhow! On to the 50L stuff.

This week there were so many Spring things, but I was most impressed with the 50L item at Larnia Kids - it's a whole outfit with a mouthie included, but the cutest part (that I couldn't capture in pics, so you'll have to check it out yourself!) is that the popsicle mouthie has an optional "popsicle stain" to wear as well. So keyyyyyuuuuteeee! It only works on 2.0 but no big deal, cuz the rest of the outfit is super adorable.
