Hi, everyone! This will be a short but hopefully helpful rundown of just a few of the cute things available for 50L this week.

First, be sure to go to ::Emjay Kidz:: - it got left off the list this week, but it has the most adorable monkey bars, with tons of different animations in it - see?

A little girl is sugar and spice, and everything nice - especially when she's taking a nap.

Project Themeory! Have you shopped the list? If you don't normally, this week is a good week to start. Every week, certain stores come up with a special item that fits a theme (hence the name!). This weekend's theme is Childhood Nostalgia.

I picked up a few things today cuz not everything on the list is suitable for kids. Check it out!

This is from {what next?} an adorable little furniture shop with so much cute stuff. If you haven't been there, go check it out! This sleepover daybed has twelve animations, and comes with the little teddy bear and stack of fairy tales that you can move and put anywhere you like. This was only 75L - can you believe it?!

My t-shirt in that picture is the Themeory item from Duboo - there are two choices there, one for boys and one for girls, but they're both so cute, I bought them all. The shirts come with sippy cup mouthies that match, too. My shoes are the bunny flats from Atomic, and my pink jeans are from Bellies, and they come in lots more colours too. 

Hold me secure in flight, sing me to sleep tonight.

Yay, it's Friday! With the help of some of the other Scribblers, I've got bunches of cute stuff to show you this week. With Father's Day being Sunday, lots of stores put out Dad-themed stuff, too! :)

The first thing I did when I woke up this morning was put my sister Frannie in time-out. She needs it! And the 50L item from Sassafras, this pink time-out chair with four poses, was perfect.

She looks so happy to be there, doesn't she? Her outfit is one of the 50L items from Larnia Kids this week - it says I <3 My Dad on the shirt, and even comes with the shoes too. She's wearing the new skin from Pink Fuel, and her hair is from Fri.day - it's called Tatum.2.

Happy Saturday, Scribblers-readers! :) I'm here just for today, filling in for Jamie who's hard at work in RL - we're so proud of her though, right? In keeping with her tradition, I found some adorable furniture for you, from a store I discovered when its owner plurked some new releases. (You /are/ on Plurk, right?) :-)

It's called DORK, and the furniture (and even some clothes!) is too cute for words - you just have to go see it for yourself. Check out what I found!

Hi guys! 50L Friday was absolutely amazing this week and I'm so so so SO glad I found some great stuff from stores I've never blogged before, and some as-usual greatness from places I have. I hope you have just as much fun shopping the list as I did. Here's what I found. :)

In this picture, the 50L item is from Babydoll's Boutique - it's the innertube floatie that I'm sitting on! It texture changes too, so you can match it with your swimsuit or your other pool toys. The sits in it are my favourite part though - I've never seen them before and they're so adorable.

My glasses are from Inner Peace, and are a 50L exclusive item this week - that means they won't be sold after today. They've got a little bug on them - if you click my picture and make it bigger you can see that it's sort of sparkly and glowy! I love it! My hair is Joanna.2 from fri.day and my swimsuit is from CCC.

That song was playing on our stream today! *waves and neatly stacks up my 50L finds for this week, sitting on top of the highest box* I found some great stuff for you today! Some of the 50L designers were nice enough to let me buy their stuff early, so I got a head start this week - yay!

One of my favourite finds this week was from Sassafras - a tire swing with not just one, but three poses! Check it out!

Haaaaappy Friday! Did you know as of Monday (Memorial Day in the U.S.) it's officially summer? I can't wait! I imagine long weekends of camping with my family, sunny days on the beach with friends and of course, shopping! This week's 50L /kids/ list was loaded with tons of keyyyuuuttttte stuff, and I picked a few of my favourite things to share with you.

Hey everyone! It's been raining non-stop this week, but even still, I waded through the monsoons to find some cute stuff for 50L. *grins* Ready to get started?

I have on two 50L items in that picture - from Inner Peace, you can get a whole set of school-themed mouthies; I've got a pencil in my mouth, and that huggable notebook, but it also comes with a crayon and pen mouthie, too! On my wrist is one of the 50L choices from Prettiful - a cute, fun, summery lollipop bracelet. Don't try to eat it though, even though it looks so yummy! *giggles*

Hey everyone! I think Jamie's posting today but I wanted to share with you all a very special project we've been working on - it's called Ask the Scribblers! Basically, it's an advice column sort of thing, where you guys, the readers, can write in to our private email account with a question about anything, and we'll do our best to answer it! Six heads are better than one, right?

You can ask about /anything/ -from where to find a certain item in SL, to how to get a job as a child avatar, where to go to school, things to do, how to handle situations like bullying or loneliness, finding a family, anything!

Your question will remain anonymous, of course - we will NOT post any names or emails, or share that information outside the Scribbles staff. 

Then, once a week, in addition to our normal posts, we'll post our answers to your questions. Now, we're not experts! But we figure that sometimes, someone outside a situation can be more help than someone right inside it. And! We think that if we work together, we can answer just about any question about Second Life and the child avatar community that you might have.

Ohai guys! So. Summer is definitely, definitely here. You won't believe all the adorable stuff on this week's 50L list; from flouncy dresses and keychain mouthies to pose chairs and bath toys, this week's list has something for everyone.

First up I want to share this piano pose prop from Glitterati Family. I got up super-early today to wish my Mommy a Happy Rezday, and she'd already bought this piano for us to use! The pose is for one adult and one child and is so wonderfully-done. It made me think of a parent giving their child a piano lesson - very easy, comfortable and loving.

We're one week closer to summer, can you believe it? This week has been a whirlwind of really great, fun stuff. I even got to take a picture as a ballerina with my big sister! Maybe if she says it's okay, I'll share it with you sometime. Anyhow! On to the 50L stuff.

This week there were so many Spring things, but I was most impressed with the 50L item at Larnia Kids - it's a whole outfit with a mouthie included, but the cutest part (that I couldn't capture in pics, so you'll have to check it out yourself!) is that the popsicle mouthie has an optional "popsicle stain" to wear as well. So keyyyyyuuuuteeee! It only works on 2.0 but no big deal, cuz the rest of the outfit is super adorable.

Friday already?! That means Spring Break is officially over starting Monday, darn it. Oh well - there's always summer to look forward to, huh? I'm so excited to share the items I found on this week's 50L lists; I hope you've been saving your lindens!

First, I wanted to mention the sim on which I took my pictures for today's post - Drowsy. It's hands-down my absolute favourite sim in Second Life. The textures on the builds are fantastically-realistic and just quirky enough to be cute without trying-too-hard. I love the landscaping, the pathways that lead to unexpected places, the hidden gifts (there are five that I know of!) throughout the sim, and the melange of shops you truly won't find anywhere else on the grid. It's a perfect place for pictures, shopping or even just exploring. Some of my favourite shops are located on the Drowsy sim as well - BP* by BettiePage, Zero-Number (0N), and Kurotsubaki just to name a few. Definitely check out this place!

Hi, everyone! Happy Almost-Easter! If you know me in-world (or have me on your Plurk timeline!) you know how excited I've been about Spring Break! Today is the first official day of it and guess what? I'm blogging in my jammies, before Mommy or the other Scribblers are even awake. (Except Frannie just woke up, so I'll be a bit distracted now.) I've got some keyyyyyyute things to share with you today from both the kids and the adult 50L list but first I wanted to show you something super-fun for Easter - an Easter-egg-dyeing table, from Sway Dench, the same designer who makes those adorable Cookie Bears.

The Scribblers were snoozing, but my friend Linsay Aya, one of the designers behind the kids' shop Scoop was awake, so guess who got dragged into dyeing eggs? This table is SO adorable! It comes with six tubes of paint (three "opened" and three closed), two paintbrushes, two eggs, a carton of eggs, three bowls of dye, and a whole basket already filled with coloured eggs. Also! The table cloth and chair cushions are texture-change, so you can match them with your decor or change them to random Spring colours like we did. Definitely hop on over (get it, hop? Easter? hahaha!) to SwayLand and grab one of these tables!

:: 50 L Friday! :: (26th March 2010)

Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve been /this/ glad it’s Friday! This week just seemed to drag by, didn’t it? Anyhow, I hope you’ve all had a great week (with nice, sunny weather like here!) and to start your weekend off, I have a rundown of some of the 50L Friday Kids offerings.

With Easter only a little more than a week away, I wasn’t surprised to see some Easter things on this week’s list. My favourite was the Overflowing Easter Basket from Sassafras Kids – it’s /so/ adorable and the textures on the eggs are omg keyyyyyyute! *grins* I wish I wasn’t so clumsy and didn’t practically trip myself walking down the steps of our house though!

A short, sweet, to-the-point post for today! Sometimes RL just kicks your bum when you least expect it!

Cuteness from this week! Chelsea Grigg's adorable Hojas dress in pink; perfect for spring, perfect for Easter, perfect for family outings just about anywhere. I love the headband that comes with the dress, and the adorable pomelo sandals. An added bonus: a pink lollipop with animation!
