It's Summer time!!

Hey Everyone! Can you believe it, the first day of summer!

Today I felt like playing outside and riding my skateboard and I thought after looking through some of my clothes, that boys read our blog too, so why not wear something from one of our awesome boy designers. I mean they may have cooties but can be pretty talented. So I found this very awesome shorts and shirt from Larnia Kids. Made by Heath Pevensey. It's called *Chill* I love it.

Included with the shorts and shirt (which has a very cool peace sign on it) You get a cool pair of hightops and the baseball cap with another nifty peace sign on it too.  The shoes have a resize script so they can be made to fit in size feet. There are so many cute outfits at Larnia Kids. Make sure boy or girl, you check them out.

The backpack with the skateboard, I found on Xstreet. It's called Sweet Home Neko, bag with skateboard. Pretty simple name to remember It's only available on Xstreet right now. You can wear the backpack and then rez a rideable one out of your inventory and have a blast. Make sure you wear a helmet and pads though.

I am so bored today and can't play outside cause it's raining. So while I was dancing around and singing in my new Ladybug wings (that a very sweet and very adorable Tiny named Lorimae gave me) I happened to  glance down at my tshirt from [C]upCakeZ and I was like WOW! I can be Lady Gaga!

I am not really supposed to be playing around in my Mommy's clothes and stuff.. But well.. a kid has to do what a kid has to do.  So lets be really quiet and I will show you what neat stuff Mommy has in here.

First I found some amazing Lady Gaga diamond sunglasses that were perfect. Then I started looking for some shoes. Now mommy loves her shoes I think there were like a gazillion pairs. She owns just about every color from Pixel Mode except the color I was looking for *hmmm* and then I spotted them. a pair she borrowed from Nana.. and I knew Nana wouldn't mind.

After I was done putting the shoes on, which were only a little too big. I glanced up and see something amazing, I grabbed it down and put it around my neck. It was a boa from Callie Cline. Oh this is an oldie but goodie. I have wore this one before. Sadly I had to take off my wings. Cause the boa and the wings just didn't work for Lady Gaga you know.
Next I found some of the most awesome Leggings. My Gpa makes them over at Luck. Inc. They come in all kinds of Colors. And they match just about anything. Almost everything else he makes is for adult girls so when I grow up I know where I am gonna shop!. Get your parents to take you to get some of these awesome Leggings.  After that, I grabbed one of my awesome jean skirts from fri.day. I love this skirt and with the leggings it works perfectly.

*strikes a pose* I think Lady Gaga would be proud! *stops typing for a second* Oh No I think I hear Mommy. I will be back on Monday. I better put her stuff  back up! *waves*

Why i chose to be abby

This is not the blog post I planned to write for today, but sometimes something happens that we feel necessary to let our voices be heard. And that is how I feel today.

Yesterday I found out about a  poster thingy that a reader of SCD had posted, and it really bothered me, I am not going to repost it here cause really  I don't want to give this person anymore attention, But basically said child avis entice people in rl to abuse children..

There were a lot of responses to it, some very supportive of our choice to be child avi's, and others very ignorant and insulting.  So today, I decided I wanted to explain to some why I choose to be a child avatar.

Happy Memorial Day to those that are celebrating it today. :)  It's such a beautiful day here! I can't wait to get outside with my family. But first I wanted to share with you some cute clothes, some from a place a lot of know about and some from a place that I believe will be something new for most of you
 

Those that know me know that I just love the styles of the 60's. I used to sit for hours and listen to my aunt tell me story after story of her Hippie Days lol!  So when I was out wandering around the other day and just looking for something different to wear. I seen this store called Teen Turf, and it wasn't long before I pair of jeans leaped out at me.  These jeans are awesome, and.. they have the most awesome looking Peace sign belt!.They are in the Peace outfit. I seen these and knew I had to get them!   The store has some really cute clothes, although its aimed at the teen avi's of SL, I seen a few shirts that I really wanted  I found a really cute halter and was wishing the shading was not there when the owner of the shop Mallory Witt, showed up.  She is super nice. She removed the shading from that top and another and told me any tops in the store I liked, to let her know it wouldnt take her but a second to fix up, and said she would do it for anyone so to tell my friends.  So since you all are my friends. GO THERE!  There are some tops that would look really cute layered with a tank under it, and of course these awesome peace jeans. And All the jeans will fit our shorter avi's too.

*takes a breath* Yes I know I am long winded this morning. But I wanted to let you all know how awesome that store was.

Happy Monday!

It's already been a fun morning. I was supposed to work this morning, and honestly I was.. I had my scribble to do, and then to finish up some projects I have going on, and of course there is school at Petit Cheri this afternoon.   But I had seen Redd Columbia released a new sewing machine at RC Cluster, So I decided to take 5 mins and TP over grab it and then come back and get to work.  But, well.. RC Cluster is the store full of gadgets, gizmos, toys and just all kinds of things you never thought you needed. But as soon as you walk in, something takes over and you just need everything you see..  So about 30 mins later  I walk out with..

Something old, something new and something bubble-like

It's my turn again. A day late too. I want to thank one of the bestiest friends a girl could have, Riley, for helping me out yesterday. I love ya Riles <3

Today I have a LOTD of course, but also I want to blog about a place. A Place that has been opened since 2005.  And thats the very first Kids Mall. Inner Child Kids Mall. 

Inner child has been a big part of the big community since it has opened. Owned by Apple Pinkey and Fawn Hailey, two wonderfully sweet people.
When I first rezzed in to second life, this was the place to go.. your one stop shopping mall. I got my first outfit here, some of my first toys, my first bedroom.. and a bunch of other firsts :)
It became the leader in showcasing kids stores.  Inner child was the first place I ever rented space for my creations.

As other mall's have came and went, it has always remained. So many creators and designers  here. CCC, Tindra Mills, Marianne Mcann, Loki's, CANDY,Kick the Can,  Pygar's stuff, Aura's  and tons more.. there are skins, shapes, eyes.. etc.. all the stuff us kids are always looking for. Please stop by and have a look, if you need anything ask  Bozz Bloch or Chrisy short the two managers, who Ms Apple says manage the mall beautifully.

Candii Kitten!

Hey Everyone!  I know I am a little late today, but its been OMG busy in my rl, but I couldn't NOT post something, I love doing it too much!!

Today I am doing an really adorable dress from Candii Kitten. It's called Leona and just so cute! And you guys know I don't do dresses very well. But this one, I will wear anytime. It comes in a few different colors but I chose green, well, because its one of my fav colors!  The dress comes with the cutest shoes and bracelets, if you look down at my ankles you will see the little bows that are on these shoes. The hair band w/bow I love, and it works perfect with the Tesa hair from Truth.

I added a couple of cute accessories I found at CK too. I just couldn't pass them up. The glasses are called Grunge glasses in Lime. I think they are so cute and the butterfly ring, Well I absolutely love butterflies so of course when I seen these on display right beside the glasses, I had to get one of them. They are a steal too. The glasses and the Butterfly ring are only 50L each. Candii has tons of colors too.

I know this was kinda short. But I will try to make up for it next Monday. I hope you all have a wonderful week, and keep on smiling.. not only does it make the grumpiest of  people smile back, it makes them wonder what you are up to!

I can't believe its Monday again already. Last week went by sooooo fast!  Today I kinda wanted to blog about a wonderful creator/designer,Evangeline Miles.  This Lady designs some of the most beautiful Fantasy wear. Not only does she create for adults, but also for little avi's. Her textures are all hand made, no photosourcing at all. And the neatest thing is, A lot of her adult clothing, has a little girl outfit to almost match, So all you mother and daughters these are perfect for you.

Most people that know me, know sometimes I love to put on a pair of wings and become a faery. When I was little I daydreamed often of having wings, and flying high above the bad stuff, where it was all safe and beautiful. Ms Evie makes those daydreams I had, become a reality of sorts, as much reality as we can have inside of Second Life.
She makes so many styles and colors to choose from, some faery-like.

This one is called Tiny Elysian -Blue, it also comes with a long skirt and a Flower wreath with blue flowers, but I love the Star Circlet, its my kind of tiara!   You cant see in this picture but it also comes with some very pretty leg ribbons, to match the arm ribbons. I  have green and violet also, I believe it comes in other colors too. The wings are from Fancy Fairy  And there a million colors and styles there. Beautiful all of them.

And some designs she makes are what you would imagine seeing in a fairytale.

This is one of my favorite non-wing dress. It's called. Tiny Muse-Green, its simple and sooo pretty, I believe there are 5 different colors. She has so many tiny formal dresses, so so pretty, with detail that you can't get with photo sourcing. She has from Victorian, to Fairy, to flowergirl styles. I can't say enough how lovely they all are.   But now, a new release from her! And last night she released them for us little avi;'s too.

Always time for skating!

Happy Monday everyone!!  I hope you all had a great weekend!  I so wish the weekends would be longer. Honestly, we should have two day work weeks, and 5 day weekends.  *nods to myself and thinks*

Okay enough stalling. Time to get dressed. *groans a little*

Today I decided to wear some cool pants I found at Atomic over the weekend. This are perfect. I love purple and plaid just seems to be the in thing.

I never knew that Atomic had such neat stuff that would fit us kids. I was impressed and bought a hoodie and a Cardi too.  But for today I chose to wear a black leather jacket I bought at AOHARU a few months back. It took some modding to fit but it was well worth it.  This kind of jacket goes with just about anything, and besides it makes me look tough. (tries to look tough). My shirt comes from Babydoll's boutique, it is included in her Soda Pop outfit. It matches perfectly with the pants and the jacket.

Let's Go Fly a Kite!

I don't know about you guys but I LOVE Kites, and the weather has been so pretty. All I can do is think about being outside, and outside with the wind blowing, makes me think of flying Kites.   I am not sure why people think someone telling them to "Go Fly a Kite" is an insult, I would love someone to tell me that. This time of year it would be like telling me to "Go Eat Chocolate"

Snookys Poses has the neatest Kite Poses, (released at the Pose Fair 2010) And I was lucky enough to have them given to me as a gift from my Uncle Kaz.   The Face of the Kite changes to umm I think it was 8 different faces and the fat pack comes with 6 poses. It is so adorable!  Since Frannie was taking my pictures this week,. (I think you guys know by now my picture taking skills are pretty iffy) I wanted to do a Kite Poses with her. So I chose the Up, Up, And Away! Pose. It is so adorable, and Because I can edit the pose, I was able to move me and Francii up enough so it looked perfect. And she is so strong, I never fell.

Gestures R Us

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a fun weekend. I know I am totally full of chocolate. I ate so much I think my eyes turned brown or somthing.

Today my blog post is going to be a lil different. I wanna write about a group of creators that really never get any recognition. You see, you cant take a picture of their creations. But they are a very important part of the kid community. They are the people that give us our voices.

When I first came to SL. I didn't like using gestures, they were silly. Like "Im gonna beat the whoopies out of you". Or "I love you hunny bunch, sugar plum. something" *mumbles cause I can't remember the words*

Gestures have become very important to the kid community, sure there are some that don't use them that much. But even they use some, sometimes.    So many of us do not feel comfortable voicing as kid avis', it tends to take the magic out of our SL. But with gestures we can let people know just how we feel. Whether it be mad, sad, angry or even yes.. bratty .. IKR? Kid avi's bratty?

Madalyn Seetan's Eyeama Kid Gestures, Are simply adorable. I don't think people realize what it takes to make gestures. I know for a fact that when Maddy makes guestures it can be lots of work. She spends hours sometimes. Her gestures range from the very very sweet.. to the ones that could get you Grounded or put in time out forever.  The voice behind her gestures is her little boy, who is amazing. Cute adorable and precocious.

Chloe McMinnar, Makes gestures for her store Little Miss Chatterbox, or LMC for short. They are the voice of her little girl, that just hearing her speak makes you want to say *AWWW*   Chloe also makes furniture, Toys and poses. You should check her out.

I can tell it's Monday!

Ohh What a day. I am sorry I am a posting a little later than usual today, but omg, it's been nuts! See I had this really cool LOTD planned for today, I mean the coolest, and I totally overslept!

 Here I was sleeping totally peacefully, well as peacefully as you can with curlers in your hair.

I sat straight up in bed as soon as I figured out I was running late! Hurrying up and trying to fix my hair. I came up with a total mess. 

Luckily Jamie was around and helped me straighten it out. And now I could get dressed! 
I dug through my closet and came up with the most awesome shorts from Gear Shift. These shorts are so cool! They are baggy and comfy, and look awesome!
Next I needed a shirt,  Crewneck Tee from fri.day is something that goes with anything, and I honestly do wear it with anything. I have it in all colors and its perfect for the layered look or even just wearing by itself.

Hey Everyone! It's me again! *waves crazy like*

Today I decided to be girlish with no frills. I like dressing like this, well, if all my jeans are dirty.

My sneakers come from CANDY these are another pair of some my favorite shoes to wear. They have  the cutest little charms hanging off of them, and included with these, there is also a texture changing hud, so you can match just about anything. The jean skirt comes from Fri.day they have 4 different colors to choose from, and the prim part of the skirt is mod, so its easily edited to fit the smaller kid avi's.  The t-shirt I found at a little store called FreshTrash It is so adorable, the tee comes in 5 different colors and has a little bow up at the neck line. I was so happy to find a very cute Tee, that did not have a lot of chest shading to it. I bought two of them and plan on going back for more. There isn't a ton of stuff in the store yet, But I can't wait to see what else they come up with. (Cupcake sim does not allow direct TP's, find RC Cluster, FreshTrash is across from there)

My charm bracelet is from Babydoll's Boutique  found in the Flyaway outfit. I found it digging through my closet for accessories and thought it would be perfect! The Finger thangamabobs (not sure what they are called ) have little hearts on back of the hand and also on each finger. Those I found last year at Zanzo , At a store named Pink Bubbles. I checked and they are still there!!  My charm necklace is from Pink Fuel , if you look close it looks like there is pixie dust floating around inside the little bottle, and when you click on it, you hear a sweet bell ring and it whispers that someone has poked your charm. It is found in the Gatcha Gatcha  machine, so its only like 10L.  If you TP over make sure you check out the rest of the store. Pink Fuel has some of the cutest shoulder pets, and interesting things, and also some really awesome skins, that could be suitable for kids.
I wanted to show you this shoulder pet too, its a sleeping bunny.I found him at Ragdoll's Cut . It is so cute, the bunnies nose twitches while he sleeps. Almost makes you want to pick him off your shoulder and squeeze him in a hug, it has such a sweet face, and right now they also have Easter versions, that are just plain adorable! The ring is from Kewt Kids, I been wearing it since last week and look! My finger hasn't even turned a bit green!

Wow! Monday again already. The days are just flying by!


I had an outfit all picked out for today, and then Chelsea, over at CCC, decides to mess up my plans by having a very cute release. Not only is Chelsea one of the top kid designers for little girl clothes, she is also my bestie. So I figured it was as good a time as any to prove to the whole grid, I do wear dresses sometimes. Chelsea was my very first friend in SL. I met her when she would rather have watched all the Saw movies back to back, while sitting in horse poo, instead of making a prim skirt 'cause she was so worried she couldn't do it. And look at what she can do now!!

This cute little sundress is named Christina, I absolutely love it. Not only is it one of my favorite colors, Light Blue, but its just so springy looking. She put cute little bows on each of the shoulders - I mean bows aren't really my thing, but look, they are just adorable. And I love the applique on the front. The dress just totally screams awesomesauce cuteness.

Monday's LOTD and Stuff

Hey Everyone!

This is such a trip,and I am a lil bit nervous, never dressed for tons of people before, I always just grab what I like and go with it. But I wanted something cute for today.




We all have our favorite shoes. So I wanted to start there. Mine are my Petanko shoes from Zero Number. These shoes are soooo cool and so comfortable.- I found them on the Drowsy Sim, when it first opened and wear them all the time. They look awesome with just about anything, but especially with the BF Jeans I found at Maitreya. These jeans took a lil bit to edit, but after I was done, it was so worth it.

I really like the babydoll shirts with these jeans. And I dug all through my closet deciding just which one I wanted. I settled on Babydoll's Boutique Jamiejo in Green top. I love the color green and I love the style of this top.
