:: 50 L Friday! :: (26th March 2010)

Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve been /this/ glad it’s Friday! This week just seemed to drag by, didn’t it? Anyhow, I hope you’ve all had a great week (with nice, sunny weather like here!) and to start your weekend off, I have a rundown of some of the 50L Friday Kids offerings.

With Easter only a little more than a week away, I wasn’t surprised to see some Easter things on this week’s list. My favourite was the Overflowing Easter Basket from Sassafras Kids – it’s /so/ adorable and the textures on the eggs are omg keyyyyyyute! *grins* I wish I wasn’t so clumsy and didn’t practically trip myself walking down the steps of our house though!

This dress from Aura’s is one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. I absolutely love how it fits and (for once!) I didn’t have to reposition the skirt at all. You’ll love the vintage paperdolls that cover this dress! Of course, I had to pair it with a vintage-ish hairstyle. This one’s from Tiny Bird, and if I remember correctly, their prices are super low for such cute hair. My shoes are from Sand Shack Surf Co, and are the Courtyard Slippers - they go with everything!

From Scoop, I picked up these super-comfy pants from there today, also just 50L! I did jazz-hands for you all so you could see the writing – TGIF! Gosh, is that ever true!

That stuffed goat was a present from my sister, Francii! She knows how much I love goats and this one from D-LAB makes me smile every time I hold it. It even comes with its own AO! My sister and mommy say it’s a pig, not a goat, but I know better! Oh, and my super-sweet flipflops are the 50L item from Jumpin’ Jacks and come in four different colours, all for the one price!

From Baby Couture, courtesy of Avalon Crystal, I got this adorable pose. Anyone that knows me knows how much I love to read, so I was so glad to see a reading pose! My mommy got dragged into a photoshoot with me – but this pose is so snuggly that we’re still sitting like that, even as I write this! *smiles big*

See the furniture in the background of that picture? It’s from MudHoney and they’re having what’s maybe the best furniture sale so far this year. Entire collections are literally 5, 10, 25, or 35L per piece. I love furniture with realistic textures like this! You have to go check out this sale – I’m not sure how long it’s going on for, but Rayvn Hynes is retiring these sets so pick them up while you still can! 

My outfit is the 50L item from Babydoll's Boutique. It comes with a tutu, hairbow, and shoes too! And the best part - sculpted sleeeeeeeeeeeves! I'm so in love with sculpted sleeves. It's a bit sad really. :/ Oh! And my mommy's whole outfit is from Aoharu - she always looks lovely but I especially like her spring look today!

And last but not least, I headed over to my never-fails, can’t-miss store – Inner Peace – and picked up the 50L outfit, called Rose. The poses I used in the picture down there are the 50L item from Small, by Audra Graves!

It’s absolutely perfect for Spring! My favourite part of this outfit is the ballet shoes in a springy plaid colour. I paired it with a necklace from LacieCakes, a present from my sister Francii. (Hmm, she seems to get me a lot of presents.. I might be slacking in the sister-department!) A springy outfit calls for springy hair, so I asked Mommy nicely to put my hair into Princess Leia buns – and there we go! *grins* My hair is from Amacci, and is called Olivia.
